Devil’s Chessboard

Allen (eventually head of the CIA) and John Foster Dulles (later Secretary of State under Ike) were brothers who got their start on Wall Street. Sullivan and Cromwell, the Dulles brothers’ Wall Street law firm, was at the center of an intricate international network of banks, investment firms, and industrial conglomerates that rebuilt Germany after World War I. Foster, the law firm’s top executive, grew skilled at structuring the complex merry-go-round of transactions that funneled massive U.S. investments into German industrial giants like the IG Farben chemical conglomerate and Krupp Steel. The profits generated by these investments then flowed to France and Britain in the form of war reparations, and then back to the United States to pay off war loans.” Many historians put forth the idea that this system fueled the rise of Nazism and contributed to WWII.
During WWII Allen Dulles was the resident OSS head in Switzerland and had many contacts with Nazi leaders. “Dulles was more in step with many Nazi leaders than he was with President Roosevelt.”
Far from being neutral, “Banks in Zurich and Basel allowed the Nazis to stash the treasure they were looting from Europe in secret accounts, which Germany then used to buy the essential products from neutral countries that fueled the Third Reich— tungsten from Spain, oil from Romania, steel from Sweden, beef from Argentina.”
“The White House wanted Dulles in clear contact with his Nazi clients so they could be easily identified.” Roosevelt felt by doing so, his Justice Department could prosecute Nazi war crimes more easily, although Justice Department lawyer (later appointed to the Supreme Court) William O. Douglas said “I could perhaps endure [men like Foster Dulles] for an evening. But to sit on a cloud with [them] through eternity would be to exact too great a price.”
Roosevelt’s “Administration officials feared that, by hiding their ill-gotten wealth, members of the German elite planned to bide their time after the war and would then try to regain power.” It didn’t help any that “Shredding of captured Nazi records was the favorite tactic of Dulles and his [associates] who stayed behind to help run the occupation of postwar Germany.” Nazi hunter John Loftus.
Many corporations survived WWII intact- “The chemical giant Farben was at the forefront of integrating concentration camp labor into its industrial production process, with other major German corporations like Volkswagen, Siemens, and Krupp following closely behind.”
The impact of the Dulles brothers even affects modern day United States in ways which are hard to understand unless a total review of their ideology becomes important enough to see the ground work done and in my opinion were traitors of the United States…
